Author dishes the dirt to Nervous Teens Heading back to school

"We all feel like freaks sometimes, like we don't fit in, but the point is to take those feelings and transform them into something important," says Keswick, "I started writing in high school - I think it's a great time to unearth your talents and to embrace them, just like Kasey does." She hopes that young readers will be able to connect with her character's real-life experiences, if not the supernatural ones.
