TORONTO, CANADA, June 04, 2010 /Canada PR News/ -- Fingar Tips Inc. is proud to announce the upcoming launch of their iPhone application, ARstreets. ARstreets represents the first Augmented Reality (AR) consumer product for the Toronto based company who seeks to greatly enhance the mobile experience.
ARstreets provides users a unique iPhone experience which overlays virtual, visual interpretations such as art, graffiti, tags and messages, on real world locations and rewards users with virtual ownership of a location canvas based on street cred
Utilizing the full features of the phone, augmented reality search and display, a robust paint editor, social network integration, location check-ins and a compelling feature release schedule, ARstreets provides a community for doodlers, artists and anyone with a desire to alter the reality around them, a platform to do so.
Whether it is a simple sketch, political message or graffiti tag, ARstreets augments the real world with a new reality, one altered, edited and improved by the creativity of others. As users augment the real world, the application encourages users to share their creations with friends and earn street cred by creating tags which the community rates through a unique system of pick-ups and placements.
Critical to the success of ARstreets are a number of features and user-interface elements new to the AR landscape.
Upon acceptance to the iPhone application store, the basic ARstreets application will be offered free, with fully featured paid version(s) and upgrades available for download.
