Matrox to Showcase Unique Multi-Display Graphics Technology for Control Room Workstations at 2010 Yokogawa Australasian User Conference

Matrox Graphics to exhibit at the biennial Yokogawa Australasian User Conference

MONTREAL, CANADA, May 06, 2010 /Canada PR News/ -- Matrox Graphics, provider of the most extensive range of advanced multi-display graphics hardware for process automation systems, will participate in the biennial 2010 Yokogawa Australasian User Conference. Matrox Extio Remote Graphics technology will be on display and Matrox representatives will be present to provide information on the unique features of Matrox technologies for operator workstations and display walls alike.

When: Monday May 10th - Tuesday May 11th, 2010
Where: Perth Exhibition Convention Centre - Western Australia

Matrox offers a comprehensive range of products to meet the most stringent control room requirements—from advanced multi-monitor graphics cards, to external Graphics eXpansion Modules, Remote Graphics Units and display wall controller boards. Matrox PowerDesk desktop management software and unified display driver architecture provide the versatility required to easily customize display configurations.

Matrox M-Series graphics cards uniquely feature low-profile, fanless designs, consume very little power and support up to four truly independent outputs in varying orientations—a combination of portrait and landscape—from a single Matrox-designed graphics chip. The Matrox M9188 supports up to eight outputs from a single card. For projects that require even larger display configurations, multiple Matrox M-Series cards can be combined in the same computer1.

Matrox Extio remote graphics technology has been designed for mission-critical environments where data security, heat generation, noise levels, and space constraints are concerns. Matrox Extio Series products address these issues by separating the user interface components—keyboard, mouse, audio peripherals, and graphics hardware—from the host PC by up to 250m over a single strand of fibre-optic cable. Matrox Extio remote graphics units are fanless devices that support for up to four high-resolution displays at the same performance as though the PC were situated at the operator's console.

Matrox products are renowned for their advanced feature sets, stability, pristine image quality, and long life cycles.
