Company to Speak, Sponsor and Exhibit at Event Geared Toward Those Who Manage High Volumes of Content
VANCOUVER, BC, April 21, 2010 /Canada PR News/ -- JustSystems, the largest independent software vendor in Japan and a worldwide leader in XML and information management technologies, today announced that the company will highlight the advantages of reusable, structured content at the Content Management Strategies (CMS)/DITA North America 2010 conference. JustSystems will be speaking, sponsoring and exhibiting its XMetaL product line at the event being held April 19-21 at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, CA.
XMetaL, an XML-based application for structured authoring and content collaboration, helps enterprises get to market faster with information products by bringing structure and automation to managing high volumes of content. Using industry standards such as the Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA), XMetaL enables content creators to efficiently create, collaboratively review, and reuse information that can be repurposed into multiple languages and formats.
Su-Laine Yeo, solutions consultant for JustSystems, will be participating in the following sessions:
• In "XMetaL and Simple XML Editing," Yeo will examine a set of recommendations for choosing a minimal subset of DITA elements for business use, and straightforward procedures for creating a minimalist, simple authoring experience in XMetaL Author Enterprise. Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 9:30 a.m.
• In the DITA 1.2 Panel, Yeo will participate in a discussion on DITA 1.2, the upcoming extension to DITA. DITA 1.2 includes a variety of new features to make customized content easier to deliver in areas such as e-learning and OEM manufacturing. Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 8:00 p.m.
